Preview drafts before publishing

See exactly what visitors will see — before they can see it. Preview links render your draft privately and expire on their own.

Updated Aug 27, 2026

The builder's canvas is good for editing, but sometimes you want the real thing: your draft, rendered as an actual page, on a phone in your hand. That's what preview is for.

How preview works#

From the Website Builder, open the preview. It renders your draft content — including pages and blocks you haven't published — as a real page, outside the editor.

Three things to know about that link:

  • It's private by design. Preview links are short-lived and signed; they stop working on their own after a short while. Your draft is never reachable by guessing a URL.
  • It's the draft, not the live site. What you see is what publish would ship right now.
  • It's disposable. Need it again later? Open a fresh preview from the builder.

A good pre-publish pass#

  1. Read it on desktop

Headlines, typos, image crops — the things you stop seeing inside the editor.

  2. Open it on your phone

Most of your visitors are on mobile. Check the hero, navigation, and any long text blocks.

  3. Click every link and button

Ticket links, streaming links, the contact form — a broken link on a live site costs you exactly the click you built the page for.

  4. Publish

Happy? Publish the site — every page at once.
