Cancel your subscription and what happens to your site and domain

Cancelling moves you to Free at your period end. Exactly what pauses, what's preserved, and what comes back if you return.

Updated Aug 27, 2026

Cancelling is designed to be safe: you keep what you paid for until your period ends, nothing is hard-deleted, and everything that pauses comes back if you upgrade again.

How to cancel#

  1. Open Billing

In the dashboard, open Billing and choose to cancel your subscription.

  2. Confirm

We'll ask why you're leaving (it genuinely shapes what we build) and confirm the date your paid features run until.

  3. Keep everything until period end

Your plan stays fully active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. Nothing changes today.

What happens at period end#

Your account moves to the Free plan:

  • Your site stays live on your free subdomain — your home page keeps serving.
  • Extra pages are deactivated, not deleted. The Free plan includes 1 page page; pages beyond it go dormant with their content preserved, and reactivate when you upgrade again.
  • Custom domains are paused, not lost. Routing through your custom domain stops (custom domains are a paid feature), but the registration is still yours. Upgrade again and the domain reconnects intact. Keep an eye on the domain's own renewal in Domains — registration and site plan are separate things.
  • Storage narrows to 1GB. Files over the limit are never deleted, but you can't upload anything new while over it.
  • The press kit steps back. Generated press kits and the epk.plus link are paid features; they resume on upgrade.
  • Catalog, tour, analytics history, messages — all preserved. Data above Free limits goes read-only rather than away.

If you come back#

Upgrade any time: dormant pages reactivate, paused domains reconnect, and the press kit regenerates. Your site picks up where it left off.
