Your subscribers
See the fans who asked to hear from you, where each one signed up, how they agreed, and how to add, import, remove or erase someone.
Subscribers are fans who asked to hear from you. They are a different list from Contacts, which is your business address book. Only confirmed subscribers can ever be emailed or texted.
How fans join#
- Your website and link page. The Subscribe option asks for an email, a phone number, or both. A fan who gives an email gets a message asking them to confirm, and counts as confirmed once they click it.
- When they write to you. Your contact form and link page Message have an "Also join" box. Fans who tick it join the same way.
- You add them. Add one person, or import a CSV, when they already told you they want to hear from you. You confirm that you have their permission, and that confirmation is kept as their record.
Every subscriber shows where they came from, such as Website sign-up, Link page, Imported or Added by you.
Email and texts#
Each person can have an email, a phone number, or both, and each has its own status. Artistplus does not send texts yet. When it does, the first text a fan receives asks them to confirm.
Remove, unsubscribe or erase#
Remove
Takes someone off your list. You can add them back later, and they can sign up again themselves.
They asked to stop
Unsubscribes them for good. You cannot add them back; only they can, by signing up again. Anyone who unsubscribes from an email is treated the same way.
Erase
Deletes their details from your subscribers and contacts. Use it when someone asks you to delete their data.
Plan limits#
Seeing your subscribers, adding them one at a time, and removing or erasing anyone is included on every plan. CSV import starts on Opener, and export and removing many at once start on Headliner.
