Subscribers: what the Subscribe button does

Visitors can join your list from your link page with a phone number or an email address. Nothing is sent to them.

How subscribing works#

Your page has a Subscribe button and a Subscribe row. A visitor who taps it is asked for a phone number first, with a link to use an email address instead, and sees the consent line beside the field. When they send it, they are on your list at once: Artistplus stores the contact and sends them nothing.

A visitor never needs an Artistplus account.

What Artistplus sends, and what it does not#

Artistplus sends your subscribers nothing. There is no confirmation message, no welcome note, and no newsletter, release announcement or text message, on any plan. The Subscribe button collects contacts for your own list. It is not a sending tool.

A phone number is stored with the consent the fan gave for texts. Artistplus does not text anyone today.

What you can see#

On every plan, including Free, open Subscribers in the dashboard to see your subscribers and their status. The list is read-only on Free.

Managing contacts, exporting a list and bulk actions follow the plan rules the pricing page lists under the fan inbox.

Unsubscribes and removals#

A fan who unsubscribes stays unsubscribed. Only that person subscribing again brings them back. Removing someone yourself, or erasing them at their request, is never plan-gated.

Message is not Subscribe#

The Message button on your page starts a conversation that lands in your Messages inbox, with the phone number or email the fan left so you can reply. It does not add anyone to your list. A fan joins the list only by using Subscribe.

Troubleshooting#

If a fan says they subscribed and you cannot find them, check Audience for their phone number or email. If they are listed as unsubscribed or removed, only they can subscribe again. If they are not there at all, ask them to try once more and contact support with the date and time if it fails again.
