Link page analytics: what you can view, and what is recorded

Your plan decides how far back reports reach. It never decides what is recorded. Some figures are not available from any source, and the reports say so.

These are two separate things, so they are described separately.

What you can view on each plan#

  • Free: 30-day summary
  • Opener: 12 months
  • Headliner: All retained history

Every plan sees views, total clicks, the overall click rate and the subscriber count. Deeper breakdowns follow the same plan rules as the rest of your Artistplus analytics, and a locked figure is shown as locked, never as zero.

What is recorded#

  • Artistplus records the same visits and clicks on every plan. Your plan decides how far back a report reaches and how much detail it shows. It never decides what is recorded.
  • Upgrading opens the history that was already recorded, within the new plan’s window. Downgrading hides older history from reports and deletes nothing.
  • Detailed event records are summarized into daily totals after a limited period, so the totals stay while the raw detail does not. Nothing here is unlimited raw data.

Days, hours and your time zone#

Charts of your days and hours use your time zone: the one saved in your profile, or your browser's if you have not saved one. Totals over longer periods, and the figures in a download, are counted in whole days in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time), so a total can differ slightly at its edges from the days on a chart.

What a click means#

A click on a streaming service is counted as a click. It is never reported as a stream, a sale or a ticket purchase, because Artistplus cannot see what happens after the visitor leaves.

Figures that are not available#

Some figures depend on another company's data, or have no trustworthy source at all. Reports show these as unavailable with the reason. They are never shown as zero.

  • Streams or plays from a service selection. No downstream integration verifies a play; a click is not a stream. Service selections are counted as clicks and never reported as plays.
  • Provider audience geography. The publishing provider supplies no audience breakdown, and no geography is inferred from anything else.
  • Provider audience gender. Same source gap, and inference is not permitted.
  • Provider audience age. Same source gap, and inference is not permitted.
  • Verified conversions, revenue, refunds and commission. No supported processor is deployed for artist sales, and a browser cannot report money. The ledger contract is defined and carries no rows.
  • Interest categories. The taxonomy, sensitivity policy and minimum sample are not approved. Destination keys are stored; no interests are derived from them.
  • Cohort benchmark. Needs a cohort definition, a minimum sample and a reviewed methodology. Cross-artist person-level data is prohibited outright.
  • Cross-device visitor identity. No fingerprinting and no cross-artist id, so one person on two devices is two visitors. Uniques are reported as an estimate beside their identity coverage.
  • History before capture started. The page did not exist. Website analytics are a different surface and stay in their own reports.
  • Share completion. Only a phone or browser share sheet reports whether a share finished. Completions are counted where it can; after a copy or a select-the-link box, completion stays unknown rather than zero.

Artistplus does not fingerprint visitors, does not follow a visitor from one artist's page to another, and does not guess age, gender or interests.
