Edit pages and sections
Select a page, edit its sections on the canvas, rearrange their order, and control what visitors can see without touching code.
Every page on your site is a stack of sections — self-contained areas like a hero, a bio, your music, a photo gallery, or a contact form. Your template supplies a complete section set; the builder lets you edit each section, show or hide it, and drag it into a new order.
The builder at a glance#
Open Website Builder from the dashboard. It launches in its own tab, with:
- The canvas — your page, exactly as it renders, in the center.
- The navigation sidebar — your pages and the section list for the current page.
- The editor sidebar — the content fields for the section selected on the canvas.
Click a section on the canvas (or in the section list) to select it, then edit its fields in the editor — headlines, copy, images, links, and toggles. Changes appear on the canvas as you type and save to your draft automatically.
Select, reorder, and hide#
Select a section
Choose it on the canvas or in the Sections list. The content editor opens the fields supported by that section.
Reorder sections
Drag sections up or down in the list to restack the page.
Show or hide a section
Use its visibility control when a section is not part of the current story. The content stays available in your draft so you can bring it back later.
The sections you'll use most#
- Hero — the opening section: your name, a key image, and a call to action. Heroes take an uploaded image or an embedded video URL — there is no video file upload for heroes.
- About — your bio. This is also the bio your press kit prefers once published.
- Music — pulls from My Music, so a new release updates your site without re-editing the page.
- Gallery — shows your Website Gallery media set.
- Tour dates — reads your Tour list live; no republish needed when shows change.
- Contact — a form whose submissions land in Messages in your dashboard.
Nothing goes live until you publish#
Everything above edits your draft. The builder's status tells you when changes are saved, but saved does not mean public. When the page reads right, preview it, then publish.
