Understand your analytics

Read website, audience, catalog, tour, inbox, press-kit, and Vault performance without getting lost in the numbers.

Analytics turns activity across Artistplus into decisions you can use: which pages hold attention, where listeners come from, and what fans do next.

Start with the overview#

Open Analytics from the Website section of your dashboard. Set the date range first so every number answers the same question. Compare a recent release or campaign with the previous period instead of judging one total in isolation.

The overview brings together the signals that matter most:

  • Website — visits, page views, popular pages, traffic sources, and device mix.
  • Audience — new and returning visitors and the places your listeners are coming from.
  • Catalog — interactions with releases and tracks on your site.
  • Tour — attention around your shows and ticket links.
  • Inbox — contact-form activity and response demand.
  • Press kit — views and downloads from industry visitors.
  • Vault — activity on files and shared links.

A useful weekly routine#

  1. Choose one period

Use the same seven- or thirty-day window each week. A consistent window makes trends easier to trust.

  2. Find the change

Look for a meaningful rise or drop, then check the related detail view. A spike after a post, show announcement, or release is more useful than an isolated lifetime total.

  3. Take one action

Move the strongest link higher on your site, fix a weak page, or repeat the channel that sent engaged visitors. Analytics is valuable when it changes the next move.

Keep the numbers clean#

Use campaign links consistently, avoid repeatedly testing your public site from the same shared link, and give a new campaign enough time to gather real visits before drawing a conclusion.
