Publish your site and share it

How drafts become your live site, why publishing is always site-wide, and where to find the link worth sharing.

Updated Aug 27, 2026

Your website has two versions at all times: the draft you edit in the builder, and the published version the world sees. Nothing you change is public until you publish.

Publish a change#

  1. Open the Website Builder

From the dashboard, open Website Builder. It opens in its own tab.

  2. Make your edits

Change copy, swap images, and adjust the sections available in your template. Edits save to your draft automatically as you work.

  3. Preview if you want a second look

Use the builder's preview to see the draft exactly as a visitor would — see Preview drafts before publishing.

  4. Publish

Hit publish in the builder. Your live site updates within seconds.

Where your site lives#

Every account includes a free subdomain like yourname.artistplus.app — that's your shareable link from day one. See Claim your free subdomain.

When you're ready for a proper address, buy a domain or connect one you already own — your site answers on both, and visitors to the subdomain still land in the right place.

If your site isn't showing up#

  • If you just completed onboarding, return to the builder and use Publish. Choosing a plan creates your private draft; it does not make the site public.
  • Confirm you actually published after your last edit: the builder edits a draft, and the draft is only yours.
  • A brand-new custom domain can take a while to route — see Fix common DNS issues.
