Storage limits and what counts against them
What uses your storage, what's exempt, per-plan video rules, and how to free space when you hit the ceiling.

Every file you upload — photos, videos, audio, documents — lives in your Vault and counts against your plan's storage. Here's exactly how the meter works.
Storage by plan#
| Plan | Storage |
|---|---|
| Free | 1GB |
| Opener | 25GB |
| Direct Support | 100GB |
| Headliner | 250GB |
What counts#
- Everything you upload to Vault, including what your website uses: gallery photos, hero images, release artwork, audio files, and documents.
- Videos — which also have their own per-plan rules:
| Plan | Video count | Max size per video |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 1 video | 250MB |
| Opener | Unlimited | 1GB |
| Direct Support | Unlimited | 2GB |
| Headliner | Unlimited | 5GB |
What doesn't count#
- Generated press kits — press kit files are fully exempt from storage.
- Imported release data — streaming links and metadata from auto-import aren't uploads of yours.
- Embedded video — a hero that embeds a YouTube or streaming URL costs no storage; only uploaded video files do.
When you hit the limit#
Uploads are checked against your remaining space before they start, so you can't accidentally overshoot — a file that doesn't fit is refused with a clear message. To make room:
- Delete files you no longer need in Vault — deleted files free their space.
- Replace oversized images with web-sized versions; a 500KB photo and a 12MB photo look identical on a phone.
- Or upgrade your plan for a bigger ceiling.
